Google Chrome's Dev channel has been updated to version 1.0.154.39. This release fixes a handful of bugs, including a few additional fixes that should help with Hotmail compatibility.
The previous release announcement has instructions for how to change Google Chrome's user agent string so that you can test the Hotmail fix.
Find about the Dev channel and how to subscribe at http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel.

To Mark Larson (who promised us all this update regarding hotmail fix, and has kept his word)- A Big thank you!!
I have no problems with Hotmail now, everything is working perfectly, like a charm!
No more switching back to vulnerability prone IE 7 LOL (Thank God LOL)
Keep up the good work at Google Chrome,can't wait for the interesting times ahead, with extension's and eventually Google's own Toolbar :-)

Kinda odd, new tab page still says "Google Chrome Beta." Will that image change soon? Well, this has been a fast moving product outa beta. My favorite updates were the scroll fix, flash videos fix, and the awesome bookmarks manager!

@ netster007x : Im sure its still saying Beta because of it being a dev channel update (1.0.154.39 Dev release) and not a stable update? so i'm guessing and could be wrong, but for example the FF dev builds are regarded as pre beta or beta or alpha, so i guess Google have decided that the newest dev channel release is technically BETA still, due to it not being a tried and tested stable release?
I know what your saying about new tab pages and sure the change is pure awesome :-)

TAB SENSITIVITY.
If you keep your mouse way too top edge. and then click and then try to click another tab. I mean you are just browsing not rearranging tabs. Then Chrome tries to rearrange.
I am able to reproduce this error on my machine.
Just click mouse way too top edge of a tab then try to click another. It tries to rearrange.
Seems like when we click way too top edge it locks down keydown

Google Bookmarks Suggestions.
Export google bookmarks and import them.
Then reorganize as following
In Bookmark Manager
Under Bookmark Bar
Create Folder Google Bookmarks
and then copy paste all the imported bookmarks.
What google can do easily.
In bookmark manager where i added folder If they can some feature on that folder like you right click on it and login with your google id and then you see all google bookmarks
Simple
Why the hell they can do that then.

we need option to Edit Most Visited pages. Let's say you have a page that you don't want to see in most visited. and you would rather see some other pages.
We should be able to right click like FF's Speed dial and edit.

Error #6 cannot be fixed in windows Vista Ultimate, and the instructions are incorrect as there is no "Run" in the Start menu.

Feature request: Please give me an option to allow the Ctrl+ option to act like it does in Firefox...stretching images as well as re-sizing text. I love that feature...It's nice that Chrome only changes the text size and doesn't mess up the images...I get that need, makes sense...but, I like the stretched images.

I'm appreciative of your efforts to fix the hotmail problem! Unfortunately, hotmail functionality for me is even poorer now after the dev update. I can't even open messages anymore.
I'll go back to the regular release for now...

I find it incomprehensible that Google has not yet released a version of Chrome for the Mac. This is a pattern of Google's that reflects very poorly on the company. Why would you choose to support Microsoft's operating system and not others? That's not very nice and hacks away at Mac users' goodwill, not to mention the goodwill of the entire Unix community.
The decision is especially strange given that Chrome is built on WebKit, which runs Apple's Safari and is the main browser engine used on the Mac.
Google has said they are working on a Mac version, but come on... how hard can it be? If you had a Cocoa developer on board, Chrome for Mac would practically write itself, given the core WebKit components.
Perhaps, though, you're doing something silly, like trying to write it in Java. That's not the way to write Mac software, Google.

Windows live calendar isn't displaying correctly with this current dev build, but hotmail itself seems fine tho for me, i can switch folders and compose and reply mails with no bother. Anyone else checked if their calendar within hotmail is playing up? it's kinda hard to explain how it's playing up, but if you see for yourself then you would know what i mean.
For what it's worth, gmail and google calendar wins hands down to be honest, no probs with that like lol,

I've downloaded Chrome and installed it but it will NOT open. I tried a few times deleting & redownloading but still nothing. I even closed all other programs, and firewalls but to no avail. Help somebody

Guys if your'e still having probs with hotmail, then try this as the user agent string, its the user agent string from apple safari for windows, dev preview 4.0(528.1.1) as surely if chrome uses or has portions of webkit nightly then this will work for you as long as you have the latest DEV RELEASE! i ammended the user agent string recommended and added this instead :--user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US) AppleWebKit/528.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/528.1.1"
as long as you press space once after the chrome.exe part and apply in the target field, it will work.
I can confirm that i am able to switch folders and compose/reply e mails fine using this ammended user agent string!!
I am using dev build 1.0.154.42 of Google chrome and this user agent string seems to work perfect,
i have the dev preview of safari and noticed that hotmail works with no problems and no adjustments (ie user agent string), so i thought i would try it and low and behold it works LOL
