Now that Chrome takes account of the Windows DPI settings, it is too large on my display. Checking the option to 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' in the chrome.exe properties does not work. Why is Chrome ignoring this option? Can this bug be fixed as it is the best way to disable DPI scaling.
Change your Chrome shortcut to launch w/ the following options as a temporary fix.C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --high-dpi-support=1 --force-device-scale-factor=1
Thanks Kyle L.That's what I have done, but if you have background apps, such as Hangouts they start from the main Chrome.exe in Program Files folder, and even changing chrome startup options in the registry has made no difference to these startup apps.So for me I have to exit Chrome from the system tray on every startup, or ensure I click my own link to start Chrome before the background app starts.A much cleaner option would be for Chrome to acknowledge the Windows DPI settings within the Properties tab.
I didn't receive this update, I had to download it manually because today I was alerted by Secunia PSI. Does it mean that there is something wrong with my Google Updater? It's not the first time something like this happens.
How long can it take to receive update (Win 7 x64)?Because Secunia PSI alerted me today that my Chrome is not up-to-date and it indeed wasn't (no indication of available update too). Are updates that slow or there is something wrong with Google Updater on my computer?
any ideas when the msi 54.0.2840.90 will be available for download?
Now I figured out it is a very strange problem that I will ignore for now.I am in Nashville TN and in the house I am renting they have DISH Internet service.Somehow the newest version of Chrome has this problem with DISH. The previous version of Chrome did not have this problem with DISH.So, if I go somewhere else that does not have DISH our OnlinePasswordManager Google Chrome Plugin works fine. This is what I call a “weird” technical problem, and it must be a DISH defect.
