The icon on start menu is black, the chrome logo disappear. Win 10 x64z
lol, they've sneaked in a tiny change:If you had Material Hybrid selected it is now "Material" only. I've changed it back.
Andrea@, I am not seeing this issue (The icon on start menu is black, the chrome logo disappear) on latest Win10 OS# 14251 for Chrome#50.0.2633.3. Just wondering what is your Win10 OS? Its on Hi-DPI?Thank you!
Jacob, it looks like something with that list changed because I was switched from "Material" to "Non-Material". Like our selected position in the list was preserved, but the list grew.
I think they introduced a new option "standard selection", which wasn't there before and which currently displays the non-material style.
This version doesn't seem to be available for me on Mac OS X 10.6.8 despite the claim my OS would be supported until April.
The chrome logo now is totally "black" on the start menù. I work on windows 10 64bit.
@robohack Chrome 50 is the first version without support for OS X 10.6, 10.7 or 10.8. That is why it's not working for you. This version is expected to become the standard stable version in April (support statements are always given in terms of the stable channel).
That's good to know Eric.Unfortunately it's a very clear indication of how poorly this deprecation of support was planned. The statements I read w.r.t. termination of support were always directly and _only_ in relation to dev channel, and indeed my dev-channel browser instance continues to suggest that it willFurthermore absolutely zero was said anywhere relevant about version numbering and any relationship between release numbers and when platform support would be withdrawn. The announcement linked to from the the chrome://about page is completely devoid of any useful information about releases or channels and simply claims April 2016 as the date the deprecated platforms will be supported until:http://chrome.blogspot.ca/2015/11/updates-to-chrome-platform-support.htmlI'm very disappointed in this extremely poor level of communications, but sadly I'm not at all surprised.
s/"it will"/\1 be supported until April 2016/
Sara Uzzina Marchi@, Just wondering which version of Win10 you are using right now?
