the annoying startup problems on 64 bit fedora 21 are fixed. now if someone could just make the Hangout extension survive across network disconnect/connects...
http://i.imgur.com/gp3pgFz.pngChrome eats all memory (4GB RAM) and makes system slow. You can find many related issues, that still are not fixed:https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=393395https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/86yzpxX7aws%5B376-400%5D
I agree about the memory hog thing. I'm sure that as soon as I changed to the 64-bit version of chrome the efficiency of the browser went down and the memory usage went up.I wonder if the 64 bit version expects you to have more memory at your disposal than if you were using the 32 bit version.I don't notice the problems on my work pc but that has about 4 times the amount of memory than my home PC.
Sorry for not replying here sooner - we appreciate the feedback. Please trust that memory usage issues are high on our radar and that we are looking to improve things ASAP.
