Google Chrome Version 41.0.2224.3 dev (64-bit) for Linux is still a mess ever since the devs "temporarily" disabled DRI3 on November 7, 2014.According to the bug report #415681, there is a fix ready. When is it going to be merged so things can return back to normal?

Is it only me or is this release very smooth, stable and fast at the same time? The previous version was more laggy for me.
I keep getting "error" when trying to install the latest update

super fast and smooth version of google chrome, but I don't know if maybe this version still have bug? I feel this best dev version...
Yup, much smoother for me on Linux as well. Reading through changelogs, I can't see why, but I'll take it :)
I still have that web hang problem here. after a few hours of surfing the net, chrome would still not be able to load any new links, and everything just hangs at that moment, meanwhile my internet is still fine, i used firefox and the internet was still working, and i was still able to enter that webpage, while constantly refreshing chrome would not make it load. I did both of the test on chrome and firefox simultaneously, and had them on the same screen. There's either something wrong in the past few versions or something, but i am very sure that my internet is fine.
Did something happen to the "Favorite Star"? It's not in my address bar and I can't seem to find a setting that would toggle it.
After installing this update, Chrome notification pop ups from the task bar no longer go away after a few seconds, and will now stay active until they are manually closed. Closing them will then cause the tab which prompted the notification to crash.
