The "Network" tab in Developer Tools is not logging anything.
Folks, how can I get back the old "New tab" page, the one which shows Apps instead of Google search bar ?
I used to use the following to see "Apps" in NTP, but that flag is now not present. http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57605019-285/how-to-bring-back-chromes-old-new-tab-page/Please provide a way to get back the old "New tab" page, the one which shows Apps instead of Google search bar
STILL blank pages. how many releases past since this is occured? I think at least 6-7 releases but still chrome gives blank pages and still you didn't fix it.
Please fix the empty "Network" tab in Dev tool. Both 33.0.1726.0 dev-m and 33.0.1727.0 canary have the same problem.
Network tab works after hitting the "Record Network Log" button (circle on the top left). Is this a new default (not log network data)?
Thanks Magnus! Seems to work that way.I don't mind having to click that button. However, there should be some warning saying that that button has to be pressed, otherwise people will get confused like us. The warning at the bottom just saying that we have to refresh the page.
After complete (all V enabled for Google Chrome) cleaning with CCleaner 4.08.4428 and launching this build of Google Chrome (Windows 8.1 Pro) Chrome shows alert: «Settings can't be found» or something like that and resets all user settings. In previous build of Chrome there was no such behaviour.
Michel the problem is with ccleaner, not Chrome.CCleaner does not recognise/recommend using ccleaner for the dev/beta versions of Chrome.Just untick the chrome settings in ccleaner, use chromes built in setting to clean chromes cookies etc
Argh, the flags option that used to exist that enabled you to revert back to the old tab page is missing "Enable Instant Extended API".Does anybody know if there is now any way at all to revert to the old tab page. Its not so much the Google search box, but the ridiculously small recent page squares.
Is Pepper Flash going to get updated soon to 18.104.22.168 http://filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_firefox/tech/54468/Pepper Flash on Chrome Beta, Dev and Canary along with Opera Next should like Adobe Flash and Air for IE and Non IE should provide an "beta" channel and stable channel.Idea for more About:flags called i.e. 'Enable Chrome Tools Beta' (Betas of Pepper Flash, Chrome PDF and Encrypted Plugin - for Netflix) or more simply 'Enable Pepper Flash Dev/Beta'Adobe also from the stable release (early 2014) of Adobe Flash 12/Air 4 will follow Chrome and Firefox with updates every 3 months bumping up the major version number so expect Flash 16 by early 2015
cc: http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?revision=236116&view=revision"Instant Extended" is now ALWAYS on, with no way to disable it. Please provide an easier way to access apps and tabs from other devices other than having to go into settings.
The fact the option to revert to the old New Tab Page has now been removed is outrageous to say the least. Please allow users who prefer the old design to "opt-in" via something like settings or flags. I do not like being forced to suddenly adopt an (in my opinion) inferior design when the previous design is fully functioning.
Please star this issue if you want to disable the new "new tab" page.
Please bring the old style New Tab Page back. I need an easier to way to access Chrome Apps, recently closed tabs, and tabs on other devices. The new-style NTP is useless for me.
