The improvements made to the Omnibox are nice! It's faster and it looks better. Speaking of fast, Chrome 29 feels mucho faster.Oh, and I also like that flags are now separated as available and not available. Can't wait for the Chrome Beta for Android version to come out later today!
Is the new omnibox supposed to be that wide? It really isn't aesthetically pleasing when compared to the previous versions since there's now a lot of empty white space around the search suggestions.
Finally this Beta updated automatically in Linux (Ubuntu 13.04)! The previous Beta updated to the Stable channel (so i had to reinstall the Beta version) but i'm pleased to say this time it self-updated flawlessly (user is prompted to download and install). Also i like the new omnibox search and i won't complain about the size since my 4 extensions all have room for their buttons. I don't know if it's subjective but Chrome seems faster too (already was faster in Linux than Windows but now looks even better). Also Flash got it's much awaited update to 11.8.800 version! Thank you guys. Job well done and Flash/auto-update issue solved!
Still waiting for that elusiveline spacing fix/option:--disable-new-menu-style
I have to agree with Sincci, the new Omnibox doesn't look aesthetically pleasing at all.The widened box looks uneven and makes me feel as if the box isn't honing or 'narrowing' my search results.
vers 29 chrome for mac eats up all the memory when in gmail and freezes chrome. had to go back to vers 28.
Thank you, thank you, for bringing back the old menu.
