I say, when are we going to get that orange dot next to the Wrench icon to signal there's an update? I like knowing when Chrome is updated so that I can check the blog to see what's new. (Right now I'm using RSS Live Links to notify me of new beta releases.)I like the new popup menu when the NTP Most visited sites is closed.
PS How about when the Most visited pane is closed, the Recently closed pane shows thumbnails? I use the latter pane more than the former and think it would be a nice addition to add thumbnails to it for quicker visual ID of closed tabs.
After updating to 7.0.517.36 beta, Click-to-play feature was gone, why?
can't wait the 7.0 stable, i want 1000 fish on my screen
FYI users, "Session Only" cookie mode is fixed in this release. (Issue 57677)
@QQ510371827: Yeah, click-to-play placeholders seem to be ignoring hover and clicks now. I've reported it as Issue 58425.
Is http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=55954 fixed yet?
When I try to download the beta for linux 32 bit .deb it downloads the stable version!!!!http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?extra=betachannel
Please, also restore links to History and Dowloads pages to "New Tab Page". Thank you. =)
Just updated the blog post, We've disabled plugin click to play for 7.0 (it will return in 8.0 once we've worked out some issues).
My browser at work must not have updated to the latest Beta release as I am very happy to see that some NTLM authentication fixes were pushed.I use Chrome at work and it was beginning to pull my hair out at the constant authentication pop-up and failures. I was decided to switch back to Firefox until the issue was resolved. I will definitely check it out Monday. Thanks!
@QQ510371827 read the discription next time
@Epic fail: That info was only added to the description later, as laforge mentioned.
Does this Beta version have Hardware Acceleration enabled by default? If not is it possible to enable it?
I'm wondering if anyone is aware of this (probably are), but I'll mention it anyway:The Task Manager does not show network usage at all in Ubuntu (and probably other distros, too), but it does in Windows. I think this has been happening since the first M6 beta.
