Hiya,Not just the calendar widget that ain't workin'...Google Calendar itself looks funky. Event names look fine until you scroll around, or switch months. I can still see the events there, but the writing is cut off.If I switch tabs, and go back, everything's back... until I scroll around again.Bleh.Still, keep up the good work guys!Oh, and fix that gadget!
Regarding calendar, I believe we know what's causing the issue and have fix which should show up in the next Dev/Beta channel release.
tab title and animation has been fixed in this release but did not included in Bug-Fix list, thanks anyway.
sorry, it seems that it is also listed. r13131.
Seems like Twitter is not showing the text inside the submit button now. Not sure if that's Chrome's fault or Twitter coding woes, but doesn't happen with Firefox or IE.(On Dev channel)
Another known issue: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=9727
Another bug fixed in this release not mentioned in the release notes is the longstanding "create multiple download tabs from the download shelf" bug.
This is the best browser ever but I am perplexed why there isn't a simple X to delete the Recent Bookmarks or Recently Closed sections nor the Most Visited Items on the New Tab page. I can't find a way to do it via the options (unless you delete *all* of your history), and for a browser and company so focused on privacy, I'm surprised you don't enable this to be done with one click. I don't need people looking over my shoulder and seeing that I bookmarked pron :)9.5 out of 10... add that, and I'm hooked for life.
I'm having a problem with Google Chrome updating to the newest developer version. I've got the Channel Chooser set to the Dev channel, and have reinstalled Chrome multiple times and it still does not update. I'm forced to manually update... anyone have a solution?
Can someone explain me the following Logic? This browser gets better and better in the details where it seems from the outside that one of the biggest global issues seems not addressed (I mean the handling of google bookmarks like in firefox). Is this Google-logic or I am fully surprised in a couple of weeks when the release comes out supporting this (I I can actually dump Firefox, and I guess many people with me). The only logic I can think of myself that it is the google-concept that I should not want bookmarks really :)Cheers, Michel
Yes, i agree with michel. I can't really browse without My bookmarks. I have to switch b/w browsers so many times just to add my bookmarks back to google bookmarks.
Is --single-process mode broken?
@Dennis Wu I Had the same problem, my browser still does not update.
Same problem, it was not updating and showed that it is the latest version, but after Download the channel chooser again and choosing dev channel, it worked for me ( maybe something changed).
Do not use stand-alone installers for chrome if you are experiencing update problems.1. Uninstall Chrome2. Use google installer to install3. Use channel selection tool to select DEV channel4. Then click "about Google Chrome" button5. Check for updates
It would nice if we know what's the schedule for different releases. Maybe you guys can have a google calendar or something that we can add and get notifications via email
