Chrome should either recognize the presence (or lack) of a touch display and adjust spacing accordingly, or users should be given the option to choose between the old, native spacing and the wider touch spacing in the browser settings.

I can't stress enough how ugly and more difficult to use the new menu spacings are on mouse & keyboard systems. They bothered me enough to track down this blog and comment, and I'm sure there are many many others who are less vocal about their dissatisfaction.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10008986616735844640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-81517383665084352662013-02-27T01:59:07.547-08:002013-02-27T01:59:07.547-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10008986616735844640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-3339946921309504952013-02-27T00:07:41.805-08:002013-02-27T00:07:41.805-08:00The new UI changes are awful. The new UI changes are awful.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16630221793221382626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-27439738268157186842013-02-26T21:36:30.598-08:002013-02-26T21:36:30.598-08:00It not just the new spacing in the menu but big sp...It not just the new spacing in the menu but big spacing in bookmarks as well.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05714732175830398969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-18936562138189671522013-02-26T21:30:07.698-08:002013-02-26T21:30:07.698-08:00The menu is tooooooo long...

It's aesthetically pleasing but functionally retarded. Its more suited for a touch environment and not the traditional desktop environment based on mouse input. The spacing is awkward and dysfunctional in addition to making the context menu too big when correcting spelling errors.
