The important functionality (far superior to the star-functionality) is to drag the URL with the mouse into its (sub)-folder of the bookmarks bar and that functionality is implemented at least for the Windows version. For Mac an issue is filed by the Chromium team to add it in the correct manner.

This version works very well. The only caveat I spotted is that when a bookmark is filed by using the star or by dragging that the title of the URL is no longer displayed in the menu of the (sub)-folder of the bookmarks bar.
I hope there is an issue associated with this, otherwise I will request it.

Excellent work: Chrome/Chromium team.
It is very pleasant and fast to work with Chrome
and the extensions make it truly even more unique.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03897436550314917490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-57944294252355306332010-05-17T13:17:20.674-07:002010-05-17T13:17:20.674-07:00speeds are slower then 5.0 please fix it so it is ...speeds are slower then 5.0 please fix it so it is fasterSexy Jinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15892295227502873326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-35045655769867283642010-05-17T12:10:50.449-07:002010-05-17T12:10:50.449-07:00No go on the dev release for deb (404).
