Very slow here compared to the previous build. Tested on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 x64 both.

Very very slow... the tabs take forever to fully load and the browser now seems very very very heavy!!! Testes with 2 machines one with SSD Samsung 840 PRO and I74770k...
The copy/paste error doesn't occur at least... (address field)

I too seem to have a problem with pages taking very long to load, and some (like Google+) regularly hang. Tested on Kubuntu 13.10 x64.

Unbelievably slow. I had to deactivate all my extensions and still it takes forever to load pages. Please do something and try to do it quickly!

What's going on with this update, it's loading slowly, and hanging a lot!

Page loading is very slow on the Mac build too. Please investigate and fix! Thanks.

%100 CPU when Adblock is enabled. Even disable all extensions still so slow.

" Nice " to see I'm not the only one with issues, page loading very slow for every website.
Even the interface of my modem is in 56k mode.
It's just impossible to surf with.
I hope the next update come very VERY soon.

Unfortunately this dev build is just 5 builds away from the last build of Chromium that works like that. I'm expecting at least a week to have it fixed. I hope they're working on some core memory management system and they will bring back a better and faster chrome

As Charles wrote, disabling adblock worked for me too. But this must not be something more than a temporary "solution".

Browser is very very slow. I hope you will fix it. Disabling adblock helped a little but why?

mistical said...

A better "fix" would be to roll back to the previous version before this one, 34.0.1788.0.

You can do so by going to AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\ on Windows and rename or delete the current chrome.exe and rename old_chrome.exe to chrome.exe and it will run the last version.

Then just do not update or close chrome (or make a copy of these files) since it might take a week to see improvement in the upcoming updates.

Pages are loading very slowly and using around 50% of cpu during this. I'm using Windows 8 64bit on dual core cpu and 2gb ram.

Another dev channel user echoing extremely slow browsing, browser load times.

Am experiencing these issues on the following platforms:

-Windows 8 x64 (8GB ram, i7 proc, SSD)
-Ubuntu 13.04 x64 (kernel 3.13, 16GB ram, i7 proc and SSD)
-Mac osx 10.9.1 (late 2013 retina MBP, 16GB ram 1TB flash)

Am forced to use firefox until the next Chrome Dev push, which will hopefully resolve these current issues.

Just echoing everybody elses thoughts. This build is ridiculously slow and so I went back to beta (despite all the bugs in Chrome Dev, I haven't had to do this once apart from now).

Please revert those changes immediately.
