The Chrome for Android Beta channel has been updated to 29.0.1547.40 and will be available in Google Play over the next few hours. This release has a number of crash fixes as well as the following main fixes:
  • 260804: Touch is offset on Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
  • 261531: "More" button on Color Picker should look more like a button
  • 265492: Replace “Learn More” link in Data Compression Proxy
  • 263264: URL bar never hides on prerendered pages
  • 226870: Add "+" for new tab to the left of the omnibox on phones (experimental)
  • 256943: Scrolling is stuck on Google News.
  • 257153: Not all touchMove events are sent to JS handler
Known issues:
  • 259048: Some WebAudio pages crash 
  • 260440: [X86] Text gets duplicated when entering & unable to delete text in the text fields
  • 252513: [WebRTC] Camera shows only black & white video not color for many low end devices
  • 263808: ColorPicker - Add grid lines between colors in simple view
  • 264966: [Note8] Black flashes while scrolling on a page that has a video being played
