"Enable SPDY/4 alpha 1Enable experimental SPDY/4 alpha 1. Note that this also enables SPDY/3.1."yaaay! :)thanks!
Although Debian 7 is the new stable release, Debian 6 is still supported for the next year. Too bad Chrome no longer supports it.
It would be nice to know what was changed in this release.
What changed in this version? The blog entry is very sparse. Does this update contain security updates? Flash Player? It would be good to know.
A more detailed changelog please. :) Thanks for the update.
I also would like to know what is being changed beside the system requirements. I was notified this morning that it's available but I have no idea if I should take it or just hold off until the next update. I know Google has become quite enamored lately with the practice of making changes but not telling their users what they are or why they're being made, but I really hope this is a case of the upgrade being inadvertently released before everything was ready for it to go.
So I guess that means that all us RHEL/CentOS 6 users are out of luck going forward? Very disappointing. If you try to install the update on RHEL/CentOS 6 you will find that yum complains that "libstdc++.so.6(GLIBCXX_3.4.15)(64bit)" is required.
Please take out the PSST line when you are clearing browsing history. It is annoying and it is making me to the point of where I am almost ready to ditch Chrome.
What the… A v27-update was released for Windows/Mac OS while Linux is already at v28 (with no changelog)?Something is wrong here.
According to a LinuxG.net article, Chrome 28 for Linux brings in the new "Blink" rendering engine which is a "a WebKit developed by Google and Opera".http://linuxg.net/google-chrome-28-has-been-officially-released-for-linux/
And now 28.0.1500.52-207119 is available through the yum repo - but no new release announcement here?
The RHEL6/CentOS 6 abandonment by Google is absolutely infuriating. Now I have 150+ workstations running the latest, patched, release of a MAJOR Linux distribution who are SOL?I'm extremely angry.
