Systems will be receiving updates over the next several days.

Some highlights of these changes are:

  • Sync wallpaper between devices.
  • Updated UI for the [x] close panel icon across infobars, find-in-page, pop-ups and more.
  • New Immersive browsing mode - browse the web with only 4px of Chrome.
  • Monitor Rotation and Scaling - you can scale your UI smaller on Arrow and rotate the screen on all Chromebooks.
  • Touch link highlighting - we now provide feedback on which link you click or button you press.
  • Notification pop-up message appears when screenshots are taken.
  • Replaced the Japanese IME with a NaCl extension version downloads a better language model upon actual usage.
  • Added transliteration IMEs for Indic languages from Google Input Tools.
  • Updated Pepper Flash to 11.7.700.202

Known Issues:
  • On Acer C7 Chromebooks, docked mode has been disabled when connecting to an external monitor.

Hi! I was just wondering, if dev and beta are really supposed to be on the exact same version? Did I miss a dev update or is this just by chance?

Hi,

I love this update overall, but when I rotate the screen, the two finger scrolling does not change. I would like it so that this changes based on the orientation of the device-when the device is in portrait mode, you can still comfortably navigate using two finger scrolling in the same direction as the screen.

Hi, do you know when Pepper Flash 11.7.700.203 is going to be released?

I have an application that works with this Pepper Flash version but not the 11.7.700.202 version for whatever reason, and would like to know.

Thanks!

When a Dev rollout to 29 comes, let me know... I can't wait to start using the code editor for my Saddleback College CIM 271 combined HTML/CSS class...

Please bring Immersive Mode to Windows. IE10, and previous version of it, have that full screen mode and it's great! It's how full screen browsing should work.

Two finger swiping to jump back to prior webpage appears to crash the browser 100% of the time. Also, I prefered the prior touch behavior for the hidden launcher (requiring a swipe up from the bezel to unhide the launcher). The new behavior (swipe up anywhere on the screen) prevents me from easily scrolling a web page with my finger. I keep the launcher hidden to preserve all those vertical pixels!

I noticed that my notification center was gone after this update? Is it just me?
