I received this update on my Series 3 Chromebook, but the changelog says I didn't.

Great to see the Dev Channel of Chrome OS being updated as quickly as the browser. As I understand it the latest releases of Chrome OS (including the ARM branch) have support for NaCL. How close are Netflix/Google to getting the Netflix app to run on the ARM Chromebook?

The Netflix application for Chrome OS does not use NaCl. It is a compiled plugin for x86. They have not released an ARM version. No amount of NaCl/PNaCl improvements will get it working until Netflix decides to support it (which will likely be never).
