Stable Update for Chrome OS

The Stable channel has been updated to 23.0.1271.94 (Platform version: 2913.224.0) for all Chrome OS Devices. This build contains a number of new features, bug fixes and security improvements. Machines will be receiving updates over the next several days.

Release Highlights:

  • Updated default apps
  • Window Manager Enhancements
  • UI improvements for notifications through the new message area
  • UI improvements to the out of box experience
  • UI improvements to the sign-in screen
  • Device reset from start screen and settings (click here for more details)
  • Enable key apps offline by default
  • Cloud-based wallpaper management  

Security fixes and rewards:

  • [$3500] [145525] Medium CVE-2012-5129: heap buffer overflow in GPU process with WebGL. Credit to miaubiz.

Great job on this release :) Thanks for providing the early adopters with a Samsung 500 with this update as well, it is beautiful.

looks good, but google music stops at the end of a song, so does not play the next song in the list

I love to use chrome. since it was release i did not use any other browser. I also use it for my celebrity blog .

I have got google music to work/play next song in list.

Solution was to disable html5 audio in google music labs.

So I had html5 audio enabled and
it worked fine in previous stable version 21.0.1180.92

It looks like video playback does not work anymore for SD card since the update...

On my google io chrome box, am getting all the tabs reloading on me.

Hope you release a fix soon.
