I'm sure you guys are working hard on this, but I'd really appreciate MKV support at some point in the future, as I have plenty of media on an external drive in that format.
This is the only thing stopping me from switching to a Chromebox as my primary device.
I know that you are going to get tons of this type of request - from all over the world - but please bring these to Canada.
I thought you guys said the update was coming out today. I switched off the beta channel and used a recovery device to bring my Acer AC700 back to version 17, only to find that the update switched me up to version 18. Where's my Aura? :(
It would be nice to have these releases in the UK in a timely manner. Simultaneous updates of different language packs shouldn't be that hard. It took about 5 working days last time I was tracking an announced update on my Samsung.
Would be nice to have the update on the CR-48 too.
Will we get v19 on our cr-48s? Please!!???
The Cr-48 isn't getting version 19 because of hardware limitations. I believe I read that version 20 will be better optimised for the Cr-48, so we'll just have to wait 6 weeks.
On the plus side, waiting for the next release means we'll also get Drive support built right in :)
Very impressive update; I think this is a real improvement, particularly for non-technical users. It's like getting a whole new Chromebook!
I think you've just obsoleted by Acer with this new release. While Chrome 19 looks nice, my machine is now much more sluggish.
