Stable Channel Update


The Chrome Stable channel has been updated to 18.0.1025.162 on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame.  This release fixes issues including:


Windows
  • Facebook page hangs after a while (Issue: 121141)
  • black screen on Hybrid Graphics system with GPU accelerated compositing enabled (Issue: 117371)

Mac
  • HTML5 audio doesn't work on some Mac computers (Issue: 109441)

Great update it definitely fixed that hanging issue on Facebook, I love the Chrome team you guys are on top of your GAME! Keep up the good work =)

Well when I try to upload a picture on my timeline in Facebook the browser crashes, I tried uploading two pictures and it did it more than once! SMH

Please make it more "STABLE"...it crashes frequently when opening new pages...

how about the very latest todays flash update from adobe, 11.2....223

the latest google chrome still doesnt have that flash version included :/

Thanks for this update. I was experiencing that hanging issue and now it doesn't seem to appear. I have noticed another issue. This one is that when you close a tab, there is a lag of time before it closes. I mean earlier when we closed a tab, it closed instantly but now it seems, it takes few milliseconds to close !!

The waiting for cache footer, 2 minute hangs that cause my entire OS to freeze even on Google's own web-sites is inexcusable.This problem is an ongoing tragedy you guys can't or won"t address.

when will chrome be updated to the 11.2.202.233 release of flash?? it's been several days now.
