Was the + icon to create a new tab removed?
I was looking forward to v17 because it was going to bring some features and changes I was looking forward to, but now those features and changes were pushed to v18 (and hopefully those features and changes won't be pushed back, again, to v19).
PS Though v17 did also bring some nice new features that I was looking forward to.
New Settings UI is great.
Is the plus sign inside the new tab button supposed to be missing?
What a strange change.
18 Dev tomorrow :)
Is anyone else seeing much higher memory usage with Chrome 17 than Chrome 16? I'm seeing an increase of about 300 MB with 7 tabs open.
John
please fix open popup full screen.
love the new print preview features, like margin settings.
what about printing background images though? you have issue 2294 open for this since 2008 with 330 starred followers. you have the function in webkit just no switch in GUI.
@John
I'm also experiencing high memory usage. But I don't have a term of comparison since I've been mainly using Firefox in the last few months-
Crash on exit every time. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Worked for a while, and start crashing on exit again.
Went back to stable. Please fix.
Also I am waiting for open popup full screen.
Data Migration
wow this new release (came from last beta 16) is feasting on my ram resources. i am using the same tabs and configuration as with previous beta16 and my machine is being slowed down very badly.
als i figured that in anonymous mode/windows when entering letters and characters in submit forms, everything is hellishly slow. typing one key on your keyboard sometimes takes many seconds until it appears in the anon-windows form field area (text box input for example).
what is wrong here? somethings very wrong.
:(
same as what others have said, my memory usage on the Chromebook has spiked way up.
I will wait for Google to repair RAM usage issue then. By the way, maybe someone will test - does switching off "omnibox rendering" in chrome://flags/ fix that?
Yeah, Chrome is really great. Now it becomes World's Second Browser.
Google Chrome Overtakes Mozilla Firefox
I love Google Chrome for its simplicity. Read it, You'll Get Idea:
Google Chrome is Now World's Second Web-Browser After IE. And we wants it to become No. 1.
