The Google Chrome team is happy to announce the release of Chrome 16 on the Stable Channel for Chromebooks (Acer AC700, Samsung Series 5, and Cr-48).
Chrome version 16.0.912.66 (Platform version: 1193.117)
Release highlights:
- Read about improvements to Chrome over on the Google Chome blog
- Support for .zip files
- Onscreen indication when caps lock is enabled
- Warning messages regarding low disk space
- Telegu and Kannada languages now supported
- Updated Pepper Flash version
- Crash fixes
- Security updates

Press settings on the right top side.
Then press 'About Google Chrome'. Then wait until your browser updates.
Write if you have succeded in doing this.

Hi...I am trying to figure out what I can do to get my Samsung Chromebook to update from stable 13 to the latest.
I got it back from repair almost a week ago (new motherboard and HDD because it was stuck on recovery screen and would not accept recovery image) and it was on stable 13. Any ideas on how I can trick it into updating? I tried signing in and out, and spamming the update button to no effect.

My stable system auto updated to version 16 and now I can not read half my bookmarks!!
I have many bookmarks that are in Japanese. Now in Version 16 what ever font they choose will not display Japanese charters. If you open the bookmark manager I can see all my book marks fine. It is just the font that is used to display the menus for the bookmark bar and other bookmarks menu.
