Very nice move! Thanks Google Dev Team!
I love Google Chrome !!!
Fonts are FUBAR in Google Reader, Twitter and other pages.
Scrolling does not work properly on Twitter.com.
Super-High CPU usage trying to scroll on some websites-Smooth Scrolling NOT ENABLED in Flags.
Windows/Vista/32bit
springboard, lastpass and xmarks extensions still not working on mac, filed bug as well
Fonts are simply screwed in Twitter and even in Gmail.
Strange behavior of Chrome with embedded Youtube videos:
Chrome opens a new window instead of watching full screen video
Sorry for my poor english.
This version does not render pages well sources like Twitter, plus there's an overuse of the CPU.
Twitter got scrolling problem +1!!
Massive font rendering problems, especially on my own blog at http://www.teezeh.de - everything there looks garbled.
I am having a few problems with clicking links - it doesn't open them, but opening them in a new tab does work.
google chrome in my blood i love chrome updates
but i didn't install new because of removing chrome:flag compact navigation bar so please add it its
a humble request
confirming what some said above, scrolling is not good on twitter.com (smooth scrolling disabled in flags too here). Also high CPU usage on frozen pages, impossible to scroll.
One last thing: smooth scrolling (if enabled) has a bug, page scrolling back down a bit when you stop scrolling up. But okay, that's in flags.
okay scrolling twitter.com was not smooth at all already in V15 last build >>> in V16, twitter.com is unusable, freezing etc... fix it now please ;)
I confirm terrible twitter.com performances on Windows 7. Luckily I use Silver Bird.
Scrolling and font problems in here and also I can't update browser, it crashes.
Works awesome, Mac Lion.
Not a fan of the new "new tab" button, though. Old one was nicer looking.
Links work fine on Windows 8, but not on Windows 7!
Had to switch to firefox since this release doesn't work at all. Can't load pages or if it does it does not stop loading, so for example you can not log on to google etc.
Also had terrible problems with syncing (maybe the problems are connected, possibly because unsuccesfully trying to sync omnibox?), had to kill chrome after 20 minutes or so.
Tried to kill my sync data in dashboard, but it says "data can not be displayed" (thus it can not be deleted).
fubar
Scrolling on Twitter is real pain!
font rendering is busted here, Windows 7... actually this font issue used to only occur with fonts using css "text-shadow" but now it appears to affect all fonts.
Slow scroll in some pages. +1
Twitter scroll is very slow... fail.
totally broken on win7 64bit.
+1 for twitter scrolling broken.. twitter.com inaccessible, freeze. Win7-64bit
Running Mac OS X Lion: Pinned tabs are about twice as wide as they should be and the new tab button/icon looks really bad (stroke too faint, gratuitous drop shadow).
Looks like Google Chrome is fine on everything apart from Windows 7 64-Bit and Mac OS X Lion.
The Google Talk extension seems to cause some crashes. After uninstalling the extension and just using the 'normal' Talk in Gmail of G+ works just fine. It's only that default Chrome OS extension.
There's inconsistency with font rendering (lack of cleartype in some parts). Going to the settings menu for example "Make Google Chrome my default browser" is lacking cleartype, OTOH the menus Basic, Personal Stuff and Under the Hood got cleartype. I dont how to say it more clearly, english isnt my first language.
I'm on WinXP SP3.
Ditto on font rendering (readability really bad in gmail; text takes 10-50% more space in Chrome 16.0.889.0 vs. IE9: white spaces are a lot larger!); crashing on updates.
Mine crashes on trying to update as well.
Same font issues as everyone else.
Twitter is quite slow for scrolling, other sites are fine.
Windows 7 64-bit
+ 1 to twitter scrolling and font rendering. More like twitter is completely broken...
Getting lots of Sync Errors.
when i went to one of my bookmark tabs i couldn't get back to ALL my bookmarks it got stuck in one set of bookmarks im fed up
Font rendering could be like Safari's, thats a good looking font rendering.
Just to expand on my cleartype issue, i'm using twitter right now, the font lack cleartype. And yes Twitter is also very sluggish.
WinXP SP3
Any flash-based website seems to have issue with cleartype with this Chrome build.
Ditto the font rendering problem and lack of cleartype . . . Windows 8. I've returned to the beta version where everything looks a lot better.
I've noticed an issue with the bookmarks on my bookmarks bar. I've seen several times where I use a bookmark (middle click to open in new tab) and then I look several minutes later and it has move to a different position on the bar. Sometime it's to the other end of the bar, so there is definitely no question that I didn't drag it by accident.
I don't think they move WHEN I click them (although they might and I just haven't noticed).
PS. I sync bookmarks.
yup same twitter and other site font issues, freezing. FIX NOW PLEASE!!!
Come on Google why is a fix taking so long? It's been in canary for a while (this build). So because of bugs it isn't updated for Linux but mac and windows still has lots of bugs!
Problems don't appear to have been solved in latest Canary build (16.0.891.0) either.
Well looks like i will have to switch back to the stable build for now.
There are a lot of download completion issues, for now most of my downloads have to be in firefox.

Chrome needs a better RAM management
Twitter has become unusable in this version of Chrome, as per the comments above. The fonts are hard to read and the CPU load is ridiculous, even after a couple of minutes of having Twitter open. Finding this is in both the Dev and Canary builds. Win Vista.
It seems that downloads finish but according to Chrome it hasn't.
Hi seph,
My RAM management/usage with Chrome does NOT see excessive, nothing like yours. I have win 7 X64, see here http://screencast.com/t/G3Hn2PqOTXGt
I'm getting a lot of "interrupted" downloads for larger files...
I started downloading a 1.8 gb file and it stopped the download halfway through! Please fix this bug google!!
High CPU usage and also Chrome keeps stalling when viewing pages with html forms on them.
Some downloads are having a problem too, its more when you have multiple downloads at the same time though. Downloading one thing at a time seems to be ok.
The live stream on youtube isn't seen as in Rock in Rio page http://www.youtube.com/rockinrioeuvou?feature=ticker, I noticed this problem with the America Cup stream
I heard there are some interesting changes in Chrome 15. cant wait for its release.
Software Development Companies
Just want to let the devs know that, after updating to 16.0.889.0 font are not rendering properly (thin fonts).
Cheers,
MK
Gmail contacts : contact addition when "new contact" is clicked, is not working properly in chrome 16 dev. Try adding lots of fields to Gmail contacts "new contact". It was working fine in chrome 15 dev.
Entered Issue 98067
Crome become very slow. Cleartype issue
OS X 10.5.8
Text appears as one gray/black/white dot per character.
