- Updated V8 3.6.0.0
- Fixed a possible sync crash triggered by encryption of all sync data.
- The --enable-accelerated-plugins flag was changed to --disable-accelerated-plugins. Pepper Plugins are now accelerated by default.
- Fixed a crash when deleting cookies from chrome://settings/clearBrowserData.
- Enable new client-side phishing detection for non-UMA users (previously UMA-only). When local heuristics trigger, sends only limited information that does not identify the page, such as a prefix of the hash of the URL, and other non-identifiable features such as whether you've visited the page before. Flash crashes still built in flash for dev. This is a windows 7 issue please fix this. It does it for stable also.
Thanks Google Dev Team! :)
Now I have 3 flash versions:
- Adobe flash plugin
- Chrome flash plugin
- pepflashplayer.dll
My flash enabled version is chrome flash plugin, it's ok?
What's pepflashplayer.dll?
Sorry for my poor english.
Bookmark menu has lost favicons, and they don't come back when revisiting sites. Not a huge problem, to be sure. This is on Lion.
The notification window that appears when trying to install an extension has horribly truncated text.

Donde lo descargo?
extensions now are in the options page! awesome!
Facebook page appears broken when is opened; otherwise this version works like a charm.
Huge memory improvement! Unable to install Chrome Web Store apps. Install spins for a few minutes then goes back to "Add to Chrome" button.
This update completely broke something for winxp home 3, clicking on the tabstrip background [ie. the titlebar type area] at any time causes the window to freak out and hide itself in some manner. This only happens when the window is maximized; fullscreen and movable windows aren't affected.
The only way to recover the window is to right click &#emdash;> restore / maximize the taskbar button. That doesn't prevent the issue from occurring again, mind, it just happens again when you next click the tabstrip background.
Clicking tabs doesn't cause this, but if you slide a tab all the way to the right and click to its left fast enough, you can hit the tabstrip background and the window will break again.
It started doing this immediately after this update, so it's not like I changed any settings anywhere. Browse normally, update, relaunch, and then suddenly this starts happening.
I want a .1000 version back! Those optimations were great.
Notification pop ups and sound don't work.
aagghhhh why have you removed profiles?!?!? I was using them loads!
just found out I can turn them back on by visiting - about:flags - but why do this??
Bring back the god damn floating bookmark bar on the Most Used page...
I agree with DoomedPanda. Bring it back
I also miss the floating bookmark bar, but they did move the bookmark menu in the wrench further up making it more accessible. Before I got used to the bookmark bar on NTP I used the bookmark menu button on the nav bar (which got axed). Perhaps the moved bookmarks menu in the wrench will suffice as a replacement.
@Fox E - I've got the same problem. Have submitted a bug report for it here: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=95816
Crashes frequently under Win XP SP3, no problem under Linux (Debian wheezy)
I'm using windows 7 x64 and it seems that all the extensions stopped working O_o
(I want the compact navigation ui back!)
google/ig: rearchbox is moved to the right, even om clasic page.
img,video searchpage looks ok
I've got the same problem as Stuart Memo and Fox E. And why did you removed the profiles?
The Pepper Flash disables itself - http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=95645
Enabled sync causes memory leak - http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=95787
Damn, I was used to the compact navigation ! :(
And the floating tab bar... seriously guys ?
Now I just need to find a was to revert to before-update chrome...
I miss the profiles!! :(
A great update nonetheless, a huge memory consumption improvement. But, opening the start menu in Windos XP, with Chrome in focus makes it crash.
Function "Stop sync and delete data from Google" doesn't work properly, I still see remaining of the synced account after I delete the sync data from Google Dashboard.
How to check:
Do a sync, deactivate the sync from Google Dashboard by deleting the data, activate the sync with the same account but use a clean profile.
In about:sync(chrome://sync/) "Sync Node Browser) you'll see remaining information from previous sync.
With 15.0.874.5 there is V8 3.5.10.5, not 3.6.0.0..
And Flash crashes from time to time.
I'm having crashes in Windows XP SP3 as well. It look like everything is working, but the screen does not update.
Chrome flash plugin crashes with 100% reproducibility. Nothing will load. Makes this build unusable on many sites.
OSX Lion 10.7.1 Chrome 15.0.874.5 dev
Missing profiles management in options??? That was an awesome simple to manage feature. Sure beat keeping multiple shortcuts for different profiles. Sure there were bugs... but you didn't have to remove it all together.
I'm having crashes in Windows XP SP3
If you want profiles back go to chrome://flags and turn profiles back on.
im getting a green bar and ghosting on youtube videos
Unfortunately this dev release is so buggy (crashing/freezing)in Windows XP SP3 I had to switch to the beta channel.
I confirm that Chrome dev with XP Service Pack 3 is a nightmare and keep crashing. However keep up the good work and look forward to the next update as always.
