Chrome OS Too!
new tab page/bookmarks,5-6 clicks = fail ://
Scroll bars when a mouse is plugged in on Lion are completely broken
silverlight is still broken. no longer able to move through bookmark folders without re-clicking
We need bookmark bar in "new tab".
It's more simple the old new tab, all in one page.
Can't close tabs. Click on x in a tab and nothing happens.
Still crashes a lot. Unusable.
I am forced to fall back on FF.
Please fix ASAP/
another bug is related with the "new tab layout". since now there're also the bookmarks page, the arrows on left and on the right to switch between the pages must be reduced in height otherwise is impossible to browse the bookmark's folders
New tab for most views looks ugly with the large icons, ok, but the worst is not being able to pin or remove them anymore.
Where is the male version of this icon:

You could add the function that allows Lion to search with three fingers tap in the dictionary.
Thanks Google Dev Team!
I'm not able to go back to the root folder of bookmarks on the NTP. It's being blocked by the link to go to the previous page (Apps)
Icons in "bookmarks" in "new tab" need to look good.
thanks Google. This looks great.
In the apps page in the "new tab", can the apps icon sizes be smaller, for clarity, and for getting more icons to fit into one "new tab" ?
From my previous post here, the logo for www.techmeme.com, Outlook web access etc are fuzzy. Please provide better logo creation.
For creating an app in the "new tab", I would like to customize icon of the app.
For example, Youtube logo creation when adding many videos (“Adding to home screen”) on Chrome etc: I tend to add lots of youtube videos as apps, so that they are easily clickable into. But the logos that are created for those videos, are all youtube logos. I would like that for each youtube video, there is a different logo, one that helps identify the video shortcut visually. Please provide this capability. Similarly, if I would like many Chrome bookmarks to various youtube videos, please help create different logos for each of those videos in chrome, so that they are easy to identify.
I would like ability to “App-ify” anthing: Please provide ability to “App-ify” anything, ie something similar to a “Add to home screen” of Google chrome browser, or iPhone or Android phone, ie ability to “App-ify” a google voice contact (for calling anyone with one click) with app showing the contacts photo, or a Blog on the internet (for reaching the blog with one click) with app showing the Blog’s name in the icon, or a Google doc (for reaching that doc with one click) with app showing the Documents name in the icon, or a youtube video for quick viewing with one click(icon that shows a snapshot from the video, not the youtube logo), and so on......From my blog http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dthcr25_155gbfdnd
Dragging a page from "Most visited" tab to "Apps" tab, in "new tab" messes up the icons. Notice the 4 top right icons do not look like the native chrome webstore apps : http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=idvy4w&s=7
Please fix this.
I would like to creat Chrome browser desktop shortcuts for specific Chrome Profiles : I have 4 people using this laptop, and would like to create specific windows-desktop shortcuts, with links to Google chrome browser that open up the browser with the Chrome profiles of the 4 people. Currently, when the chrome users click on the generic Chrome browser icon, first chrome browser loads with my profile, and then they have to open chrome windows from there, with their own profile. Ideally, it will be good to have icons showing the photo of the person in the icon, on windows desktop, so that it clearly identifies the profile of the person whose chrome browser will open when the icon is clicked-into. That way, I can have multiple icons (associated with the different profiles) on my desktop for chrome browser.
From my blog http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dthcr25_155gbfdnd
Big thumbs down on the new New Tab page. Too many clicks to get to my bookmarks, I can't open a folder all at once anymore (huge problem for me), Navigation is strange because there's an arrow to the left, which suggests going back, but it takes me to the apps page instead... The old page was great! Why change?
I can't delete bookmarks from my New Tab.
@Saravana Kumar
Indeed
And the new Chrome Canary's version have the same issue yet.
Bad Google! Bad, bad Google!
Everyone seems to hate the NTP and yet Google continues to disappoint us.
Also, I hate that I can't right click on a bookmark menu item on the Mac now. You've sacrificed functionality Google.
Bottom line, these changes are not positive changes, they degrade the user's experience.
Google, please just restore it to the way it was 3 weeks ago. You know the adage, if it ain't broken...
@Tony: This a DEVELOPMENT CHANNEL, the things are beeing tested here and if you're not happy with not working things then to go beta or stable channel.
(But one question, really, where is the male icon from multi profiles? o.O)
The NTP is definitely a step back in bookmark exploration. Removing the bookmark menu bar was completely unnecessary.
>No keywords for bookmarks in the omnibox
>No bookmarks sidebar
>Removed Bookmark button from toolbar
>Now the bar has been removed from the NTP
Maybe by Chrome 20 google will have eliminated bookmarks altogether.
@Chris and everyone else with similar opinions --which I respect-- I'm running 15.0.857.0 (build 97411) on Mac OS X (Snow Leopard 10.6.8) and love the new NTP design and layout, keywords for bookmarks on the omnibox works; I don't need the bookmarks sidebar because I've never liked it as an option, although it should remain as an optional feature for those who like using it; my bookmarks are present on the menu bar; bookmark button on toolbar is not present but there is an extension that can reverse that; removal of the bar from the NTP is not an issue for me, perhaps it should also be available as an optional feature for whomever likes it.
Overall this build is a vast improvement over its recent predecessors, it loads pages so quickly that it reminds me of the commercials that ran on TV during the early days of true broadband service being touted by cable companies, wherein it was not mentioned that such pages were already preloaded on the browser's cache, thus the apparent lightning fast page loads.
Nice job Google Chrome Team.
On a desktop PC, I need to access the bookmarks from any view in my new tab page. There's a lot of wasted white space anyway.
Profile seems broken, when I click on Wrench, options, I'm the only user (Administrator) but when I click on users it seems to add a user 1, then I seem to be able to change the default profile ICON. I don't think it is working correctly!
Lots of crashes on Win 7
For those interested in tracking it, the issue regarding the experimental new tab page is at http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=76706
Please keep in mind, however, that this is a development tracking system and not the proper channel for complaints (or general praise for that matter).
