HUGE memory leaks in this version. Had to downgrade temporarily.

@sam: Try upgrading to Snow Leopard, it completes Leopard in numerous ways, ever since I upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard (when 10.6.6 was released) I have NOT experienced the excessive processor overload that you've described, such instances were not uncommon when I was using Leopard.

OK, the visual eye sore of the cupcake is gone (Yay!), but the feature it represented is too (Boo!). Where did multiple profiles go? I was getting really excited about that feature...

Crashes at start and full point. No chance to run it. How can I go back to the previous dev version?

The multiple profiles option removed ?
Why ?
1:43 AM, July 27, 2011
Игры рынка said...
It crashes because of the preferences. And also requires turning off synchronization of preferences. Otherwise crashes at restart.

@Игры рынка - In order to return to the previous version of Chrome Developer you'd have to have a copy of its installation image, that is either the setup.exe if you're on Windows, or the chrome.dmg if you're on Mac OS X.

I am looking forward to 14. I had to stop using Chrome with Snow Leopard because it was consistently very slow loading pages. I have the issue with both of my Macs, but not with our PC.

Do I have to somehow enable this new 2-finger swipe in Chrome if I'm using Lion? It works fine in Safari, but doesn't in Chrome. 3-finger swipe missing in Chrome is the most annoying thing after switching to Lion...

@Angel: going from leopard to snow leopard is good advice.
Still, this instance of chrome is broken in many ways. every time I quit it freezes badly.

It looks like the new release has fixed the issues with Canvas rendering in the Peacekeeper benchmark and the HTML5 Fish bowl is now working again however ACID3 compliance is now down to 97/100.

Windows platform was accidentally left out for multi-profiles in about:flags. I believe that will be fixed by the next Dev build.

PDF usage/support appears to be working in Win version.
Can't believe all the 'childish' chatter over the multi-profile icons and the cupcake.

@Slivver for me acid3 is 100/100 with only one warning, but I am using 835.4 which is on Canary, guess it hasn't been pushed to dev yet?

Multiple profiles was probably removed from flags and moved to the command line because it tends to blow away your profile on Chrome OS when enabled even if you don't use it (thankfully sync brings everything back).
At least that was my experience.

The market share of chrome declined 0.3 % since the last week after consistently rising over the previous weeks
You gotta release chrome 13 google and it gotta be good so you do not lose the momentum

You can't add a new search provider for the omnibox. Pressing enter after you are ready, it doesn't do anything.

I might be wrong but Facebook seems to done something that messes it up on Chrome Dev Channel. This is related to the insecure script won't run on secure website restriction that is party of Chrome 14. Can anyone else confirm?
This applies to Facebook website, Facebook Comment widgets and of course the Facebook Like Button.
