The Dev channel has been updated to 11.0.696.12 for Macintosh, Windows, Linux and Chrome Frame platforms
The following bugs were fixed
- New York Times Chrome app crashes on the Chorme Dev Channel (Issue 75563).
- Sync login dlg is truncated (Issue 72490 ).
- Status bar / target URL not shown when hovering over links(Issue 75268).
- Several known crashes (Issues 75171 and 75443 and 75828).
- Bookmark focus is not lost when moved away from the bookmark bar (Issue 75367).
- Tooltips from browser tabs are persisting for too long (Issue 75334 ).
- Content settings updates don't reflect the current Incognito session(Issue 74466).
- NewTabPage is not updating when a new theme is applied (Issue 74311).
- fixed download requests in chrome frame which occur in response to top level POSTs (Issue 73985 ).
- Chrome locks up on form submit, constantly duplicating autofill settings to blame(Issue 74911).

I appreciate the idea of the new logo - form and function, with no bulky distractions or visual 'fat', but I can't help but feel it could be done slightly better. The red looks more like a cap than an arrow forward, which is the sort of thing I think you guys were going for (or should be going for). Try to visually communicate that it (Chrome) is 'ahead of the curve' by brushing the yellow off of the red.

Love this less buggy version, but really not liking the new flat logo.
Like the idea of a new logo but the previous one was way more outstanding and didn't appear flat like a sheet of paper :(
Please either take the time to make the new logo more outstanding like the first one or just bring back the fancy original :)
BTW, what are the plans with the all-golden logo located in the "chrome.exe" file? Please don't use that as the next logo, that's even worse.

In Windows 7 64-bit, the Chrome icon in my taskbar changed for large icons only. When choosing small icons for my superbar, it still shows the old Chrome icon. I've tried resetting the icon, but it always defaults to the old icon. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

The logo just looks bad, I am changing it back to the old one. This was is simplistic, more simplistic then the browser in my opinion. Change it back please.

I think the best logo is the one on the Chrome Webstore logo. https://chrome.google.com/webstore it's like the new one, but a little curvy and without that white border surrounding the blue ball...

On the topic of the new logo: I found it to be much more likable when rotated 20 degrees CCW. It stops the 'cap' effect of the red on top that someone else noted. I found the boundary between the red and yellow to be a bit distracting and this seemed to solve it and make it less of a mosaic and more of a wheel. Other than that, I like it, and it seems to match up more with other Google products' logos.
