In Chrome 9 there is the WebP image format! I am very eager to deploy it on my websites when stable release will out.
@cristian.a: because IndexedDB support(5pts) was removed in M9 because of stability issues. Will be back in M10
Great release.
I'm wondering when we'll get native smooth scrolling?
Betas are several versions and none of Final version of Google Chrome 9. Where is the final version of Google Chrome 9?
The final version of Chrome 9 will be released when the beta is deemed stable enough.
I know that but a few months back here the chrome is taking too long to release updates the stable mainly occurring with more frequency.
Google CloudPrint is asking for a 9.x version of Chrome but the auto updater is only updating to 8.0.552.237.
When doing a manual install i get error 3.

@I am ...wait another week or so , stable 9 should be released :D
instant preview from the omibox has dissapeared
8 weeks?? lets hope they dont drag it on much longer. according to their new release policy (http://blog.chromium.org/2010/07/release-early-release-often.html) if something was not stable enough they'd just push it to future releases... why aren't they doing that now?
I'm just sayin...
Remember, X-Mas holiday was end of December and Beginning of January. I am quite sure this would delay any software release a couple of weeks or so. A lot of places, in the US at least, have vacation time during that period.
This one is very unstable, constand different crashes, hoping for new update or way to reverse to previus version.
