The Chrome Dev channel has been updated to 9.0.570.1 for Windows, Linux, and Chrome Frame. This release contains a new version of Flash. The Dev channel for Mac has been updated to 9.0.572.0 which has a new version of Flash and fixes one of the top crashers (Issue: 61446)

In Windows Vista 32 bits, the browser crash when it closes.
You people jack up the major version number at an alarming pace. There's never even a .1 version of Chrome, is there?

I thought common knowledge has held (for a while now) that the version numbers are, in fact, meaningless.

@alehox - check plugins - this update does not CRASH on my Win Vista/32 bit.

Flash plugin in Mac build is still 10.1.85, while 10.1.102 was officially posted by Adobe yesterday. So, in Chrome it now lags behind the system plugin.
Yea...now Chrome can say it is as 'advanced' as IE since they are both at version 9...
(I do like Chrome better though)

Just my guess that Adobe doesn't "see" the one bundled with Chrome, just its own.
Is it me or the Alt-Shift-clic on a link to open it in a new tab and put focus on it does not work anymore with this version…
Try ctrl shift click to open in new tab and put focus on.
I was mistaken : it's Cmd-Shift-clic that I meant (not Alt…). Please bring back this shortcut !

applying a new theme from the main theme page, where all theme thumbnails are displayed, doesn't work anymore, and this for a little while, it's not just with this build. Clicking on a theme's name and applying it from its own individual web page is the only way. Let's be clearer: you can't apply a theme from here: https://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en/themes/google.html

When is Chrome going to be able to display HTML5 Videos in Full Screen? It's been a while since Safari first did it. It's time for Chrome to strike back!

I can view videos now.
After a pc reset, no more crashes. Sorry.

Sorry to hear that. As far as I know, the "passphrase" is simply the user's account login password. Hope this helps.
Chrome browser will not install on Windows 7 systems when firewall default outgoing rule is set to disabled. Since ChromeSetup.exe create another exe in temp folder it is hardship to add necessary rule to the Windows Firewall.
Right clicking on a link and selecting "Open Link in Incognito Window" doesn't work anymore. Opening a link from the bookmarks bar in a new incognito window also does not work. However, in a way it works only if there is an existing incognito window, the link opens as a new tab in that window, but the window does not become in focus. Mac 9.0.572.0 dev.
This is not that important, but acid3.acidtests.org doesn't look as it should be acid3.acidtests.org/reference.html at all...

I have been a Chrome user since day one and I really love it. I use it as my default browser on my Mac and PC. Keep up the good work. I have a suggestion. Nowadays, everything is about social networking. So, can you please make Chrome for sociable? What I mean is make Chrome integrate with email accounts and social networking sites. Just like Flock and RockMelt browsers. I know that there are third-party extensions that can do this but I want this integration to be natural. I want to be able to log into Facebook chat or yahoo messenger directly in the browser without going to the site or having to install a third-party extension. Thanks.

The same topic: Now I see the red "You should not see this at all" in top left corner at test 69 (the only lagging thing). Anyone else could notice this?
Atm, Chrome is the fastest in Acid3.

The Japanese font rendering in Chrome (9.0.570.0 dev) is... strange. For example, look at the column of hyperlinks on the right.
Focus on this string: "９月４・５・１８・１９日 ＭＲＴの一部区間で運行が中止されます" and compare it with its rendering in Chrome 10.63, IE8 and Firefox 3.6.12. Only Chrome's rendering is somewhat odd. The numbers are thinner.
Would be great if you can fix it. I've noticed this problem since using Chrome in v5.
