This is an awful and generic release message. Why even bother post these? C'mon! What happened to the good ol detailed ones. Don't fall back in quality, please.
Agreed, I miss the old summaries.
Fix the favicons. I have 25 tabs open and only 3 are showing favicons. This makes it very hard to navigate.
yea the favicons thing is annoying.
all my bookmark icons are messed up now too
Thanks Google Dev Team!
Win Vista/32 bit
I seem to have an issue with the Dev channel (not in the Beta channel) where my proxy server is challenging me for certain resources. Loading the Digg home page for example challenges me about 4-5 times for some of the images that it's trying to load.
the favicon issue will not be fixed automatically. you'll have to open the bookmark, and then the favicon will be corrected again. beta/stable users will not have this issue. the small updates are because this version will be chrome 7 stable, and so they are not adding new feature. to see more added feature use chrome canary or chromium, or wait chrome 7 to come out (1 1/2 week) and then the dev will ship to chrome 8
Bookmark favicons are fixed in Chromium but not tab favicons. If i go to Youtube the favicon appears correctly in the tab but after clicking on a video it changes to a blank icon.
If you want detailed summaries, there's a link for that. After reading that link, you'll see why the update info is generic. There are only minor updates, because this is a branch that's being polished for release.
1: the favicon don't work correctly and somethimes are missing.
2: add the option "clear history when Chrome closing".
thanks
Very odd, but after this release which "focused on resolving minor bug fixes or crashes", I've had 3 crashes this morning during activities where I haven't had complete crashes in a while. I'll keep watching to see if maybe rebooting could have been needed.
guys
report your problem to google bug report not here.......
Still showing the Proxy authentication bug, see http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=57261
The SVN log link in this blog post wasn't updated (it shows updates for *.17)
Can I randomly ask why the dev versions's missing some of the about:labs features of the canary build, e.g. Instant and Tabbed settings?
When is Chrome going to give us the option of having Bookmarks visible at all times (i.e. at the left side) as do other browsers?
(perchance any cannot see this question, notify me at once)
