The Chrome Dev Channel has been updated to 6.0.472.25 for all platforms. It includes the following changes:

- Stability Fixes
Windows
- (Issue 50577) Launching Chrome after installing may not work correctly if other browsers are running and set as default
Known Issues
- (Issue 51187) Drag and Drop of large file may result in crash
- (Issue 51325) Home button on Linux has no image

No home button showing in the toolbar when enabled. Just a sliver of white when doing mouse-over. The sliver of white does perform a 'home' function.
6.0.472.25 using Linux 10.04

For the bookmarks bar, the dropdown list for the extra bookmarks is too wide. I would appreciate something skinnier.

Refresh button is obviously fixed, but you made the buttons smaller (thus slower/harder to click) and less distinguishable.
Odd choice of UI updates. Make the buttons as large as they were before, and add some separator as a way to quickly tell between buttons.

Linux version still has the graphical glitches mentioned in the comments for last release a few days ago, with the exception of search results in the "omnibox" now being readable/fixed/displaying as they should.
And still missing that awesome PDF plugin. It was around for such a short time!

Is there any way to get rid of that extra space on top of the tabs? I like as much real estate as possible when viewing a web page. I know its only minimal gains but every pixel counts.

Ubuntu 10.04/GNOME theme bugs in this build --
GTK+ theme: Home button disappeared (is now a functioning sliver). The URL bar also increased in size while its font size shrunk:

@Aisha: same thing here on my Ubuntu box on all of the items you've mentioned for both GTK themes and the classic theme. Sort of stuck between two bad choices: GTK themes with their problems or the ugly classic theme with the goofed up icons in the omnibar...
Life on the dev channel has been interesting this week, much moreso than has been the case the past few months.

There is still a bug when viewing a folder of bookmarks in the bookmarks bar in full screen. Open a folder of bookmarks, hover over any bookmark in the folder, then from there move the mouse cursor over any other folder in the bookmarks bar. The list does not appear under its folder as it should but instead opens from the very top of the screen.
So far I confirm this occurs in the Mac version of Chrome

Visit a bookmark currently with a blank favicon. As the site is loading click a bookmarks folder on the bookmarks bar and keep the drop-down list open. The moment the actual favicon for the site loads and appears in its tab the drop-down list of bookmark folder just closes instantly. This bug has been present in Chrome as long I could remember when first using it back in 5.x, all channels of both Windows and Mac.

in mac pressing command W doesnt close the tab the first time, but when pressing cmd W again it closes.
same behavior with the little cross that closes the tab, first click doesnt work but second does.

Bookmarks show blank favicons the first time a bookmark folder in the bookmarks bar is open when Chrome is launched. Favicons are displayed correctly when the folder is opened a second time.

gmail now hangs, causes cpu to go 100% every single time. All other sites work ok. I now use firefox for gmail only! Problem presists, even if I delete the complete user profile!

acid3 test still renders wrong when accessing directly the link, but renders ok if going to acidtests.org and then going to acid3, but crashes again if hitting refresh (Win7 x86)

Coming back after updating my Linux version of Chrome:
My Home button DOES show up, but there are dark grey lines behind all the icons in the omnibar. The text in the bar shows up fine, oddly enough.
Running Chrome 6.0.472.25 with KDE on Arch Linux.

Seriously, i prefer if u would make the bookmark menu smaller like before. I don't like the fact that the menu is now too wide and taking up the browser spaces. It would be much better if u guys would somehow put in an option of showing only the icons of the bookmarked website like in IE. That feature is great overall, takes less space, but IE is just too slow and insecure so i had to give it up and get with Google Chrome. Please somehow get this feature in, it would be much better. And also, i prefer bigger icon buttons for the "Refresh", "Home", "Tools", basically the icons around the address bar. It's more visible when it's bigger.

With this version i get again crashes while i try to open http://online.bulbank.bg/ It happens both with Linux(Debian Lenny) and Windows(WinXP SP3) versions. Chrome on Linux i use certificate i imported from firefox base, and for Windows version i use no certificate.
Still both crash instantly when i try to open that page.
