Why does it say "5.0.375.99 beta" on my browser I thought this is a stable release??
Both Stable and Beta got this release.
Please give us an Extensions Menu under the Bookmarks Menu. You could do this by allowing the current slider to be dragged down as a toolbar in user-defined position. I can barely see my Address Bar!
How about making an ACTUAL INSTALLER available to those who want it on yer own google chrome page? I am really sick of this "web-downloader/installer" crapola. If I can't find the actual file to download in few clicks then, well, I won't even try it anymore, sorry.
Get a grip, Google!
@Noone
searching on web i noticed that the offline installer can be found at filehippo.com and yes, would be cool that Google provides her own offline installer. =)
@Noone / @Thiago Guttenburg:
Searching for "google chrome offline installer" in Google gives you this as the first link:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=18570da4b63e90b3&hl=en
Google explains how to get the offline installer and issues to be aware of when using it.

For all friend who still downloaded with google installer, go to softpedia.com. In there you'll find full version or in another word you can download Google Chrome in one single click. The stable version available with approximately 16 MB of size.
Now time of me to ask Google, I've found several buga/errors on the 5.0.375.99. I can't open Yahoo! and Yahoo! Answer. How can I fix this problems?
This release is so unstable as to be unusable and I've been forced to switch back to using Safari as my main browser until a new version is released.
great article!

On my Mac OS, I've had some serious problems with this release constantly freezing for several seconds at a time, before coming back to life. It has been incredibly frustrating. I didn't have this many problems with the Beta releases from 3 months ago!
This release just feels very UNstable.
Translate toolbar is cool - it would be nice if the webmaster could trigger it with:
meta http-equiv="content-language" content="??"
