Are there any other bugs except the security one's which have been fixed in this release?

I heard that the integrated Flash boosts performance, but it's never been quantified...

Is there a way to determine what channel you are subscribed to? I should be on the beta channel since I installed Chrome for Mac beta long ago, but now I'm curious if the initial stable release forced me to that channel. I ask because Chrome says I'm currently up-to-date (5.0.375.70) and when I tried to download the update manually, it tells me I don't have enough permissions to upgrade/install Chrome. Thoughts?

AC,
go to download dot com and look for 'google chrome channel changer'.
It may be windows only.
In that case go to http://
dev.chromium.org/getting-
involved/dev-channel
and download stable, beta or dev for your OS.

Hi, I removed my dev channel and install the beta channel package, but there is no flash :(
On about:plugins nothing with flash or shockwave is listed. Are there any further steps to do to get the internal flash (downloading some stuff, set command line switch, ...)?
my system is amd64 debian lenny

Is that all?
I already had integrated flash enabled with the -enable-internal-flash switch!

@Martin Bartlett, thanks for the response, and you are right! The bug is fixed.
(I keep forgetting that "Tabs To The Front" extension keeps getting in the way! :-)

hoschi, no flash for 64bit linux. If you have the older beta, use it, or use nspluginwrapper and 32bit version.
AC, in spanner menu, "about google chrome" will show your channel after the version. The channel switcher has long been deprecated.

to answer an earlier query, go here: http://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel#TOC-Mac to change your channel for Mac users
A method for Linux and windows is on the same page

Does the latest Chrome Beta have Flash 10.0 support, or Flash 10.1 which adds the hardware GPU acceleration?

Kurt - It has an integrated version of Flash 10.1 which was specifically designed for Chrome to improve performance, stability and security.
