Beta Channel Update

The Beta channel has been updated to 4.0.249.49 for Mac. This release includes a relatively minor update that corrects a potential issue with our auto-update processes for Mac users.
More details about additional changes are available in the svn log of all revisions.

Why no extension support for the Mac in the beta still? Seems to be working fine in the Chromium nightlies.

Thank you very much, but why wasn't the fix to the Exposé floating status bar included on it?
If you activate Exposé while the status bar is hidden on Chrome (e.g. page has already loaded and there is nothing to display), a phantom, transparent status bar is added to the Exposé row - something that does not occur if the Status Bar is actually showing something.
A bug has already been filled and properly closed for the nightlies...

And fixing the download window crash problem?
I've experienced this problem on every mac I have every installed Chrome. You click on a download link and if I by accident click anywhere else than the download window while it pops up, it disappears and Chrome crashes a few seconds after that.

Re-enable The Install Button For Macs
This site has created a bookmarklet that will re-enable the install extensions button. Drag the bookmarklet to your Bookmarks bar and release it. When you are on page with the extension you want, click on the bookmarlet to enable the button. Then click on it to install the extension.

I created this bookmarklet to search those 4 sites above using Google Web Search to quickly find extensions for Chrome Beta. The bookmarklet works with all browsers except Internet Explorer and it's Clones. I haven't tested this on a Mac. Try it and see if it works for you.

Dwight: your bookmarklet doesn't work on Google Chrome for Mac, both beta and dev.
It lights up the "Install" button but has no effect since it is impossible to get through the actual extension install (yes, i tried).
And it's not needed on Chromium which has extension already enabled since a long time. :)

Hopefully progress will start again, love Chrome for Mac but still waiting for it to get up to speed. No extensions, no bookmark syncing, no task manager, no bookmark manager... hopefully this can be as good as the WIndows version soon.

Why does the "dev channel" download version for mac match the latest "beta" download version (both 4.0.249.49)? Can someone please explain what is going on?
Until this is resolved, I have been using a chromium nightly which at least supports extensions.

I realized that in the new web navegator, Chrome, you can't download videos the same way your can with other navegators by clicking "alt+command+A"
