This build is keep on crashing once it click on the extension button...very annoying and please come out with the new development version to recover this issue of instability...
Next, please add back the clearing browsing data icon because it is an essential for user who instantly needed to remove certain private data in the public computer, thanks...

I agree with Jeffrey's comment. The clear browsing data option should visible and more easily accessible as in the current stable version release 3.x. As of now the end user has to search for "clear browsing data" option.

Why can't we edit or remove the google chrome bookmarks in google docs? I've got a few old bookmarks that I don't want but everytime I syn chrome i get it back and have to delete it. Why do the bookmarks on docs need to be read only?

Please bring back "Clear browsing data" on the Tools menu.
Moreover, please give us the option to either open/run downloaded files or save them. Honestly, this feature is long overdue on Google Chrome.

Thanks for fixing the bug of Open all bookmarks for Mac, it now opens only these bookmarks of the folder (as it should be) in new tabs and not all bookmarks. However this useful feature of being able to open all bookmarks on separate tabs I would also like to use in subfolders of my folders on the bookmarks bar (this feature exists in the Windows version, so it is not a new thing for Chrome). In any case congratulations for the progress on Mac. Chrome is now everywhere my default browser. I just love it. Looking forward also very much to synchronization of bookmarks for Mac .....

FULLY AGREE with this, this way the user can forget about cleaning and concentrate on other things such as webbrowsing, using this feature. When he/she closes the browser, the cleaning will start. Click& clean as extension has this feature but this extension that works nicely under Windows crashes my whole browser under Mac OSX, so I removed the extension by editing the Preferences file. It should be a standard option for Chrome to activate automatically "clear browsing data" when shutting down the browser. Firefox has this. I am also still missing very much an extension such as "NOSCRIPT" for Firefox where the user can selectively choose what javascripts execute per webpage. (for security and other reasons this is useful)

From some time, everyversion of Chrome Ive tried is freezing, lagging. For example, I have two tabs opened, first is Google and second is phpbb forum. When I click for example on subforum and then I click on other tab to read something and wait till is first tab loaded, when I again click on first tab, its freezed. Then page loads but after like 3 seconds. Its very confusing. Please help. OS Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

I use the great (free) program called CCleaner to automatically clear by Google Cache files at ever reboot - along with many other housekeeping duties. It really works well and is totally transparent.

"I use the great (free) program called CCleaner to automatically clear by Google Cache files at ever reboot - along with many other housekeeping duties. The Chrome-extension "click&Clean" combines the cleaning of Chrome with the cleaning of ccleaner (it actually uses ccleaner). So this is perfect for me on my Windows PC's. However my main computer is now a Mac and there ccleaner does not exist and click&clean crashes the browser.

Although I've updated to 4.0.249.0 , and at the beginning it worked just fine, the "Sync my bookmarks" button in the wrench menu is not available and neither the options.
Anyone any idea why?
Note: I'm running Ubuntu 9.10

You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through. Please come visit my site Business Reviews Of San Antonio City when you got time.

I am not really sure if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your great job is clearly identifed. I was wondering if you offer any subscription to your RSS feeds as I would be very interested and can’t find any link to subscribe here.
