I open Chrome 4.0.223.11. A message of error, and Chrome closes itself.
This version is unusable. It is a shame to propose us some versions as that one!
To when a correction of this major dysfunction? In Windows, Chrome opens up and closes itself immediately.

I still seem to have issues with pop-ups being maximied, like clicking on the comments link on the Google Chrome release blog as an example. Would be great if this can be fixed. Other than that, thanks for the wonderful work on Chrome.

for the people for who it still doesn't work: start chrome with --disable-extensions. Works for me (also having this problem with 4.0.223.11).

When I open a new tab to show my thumbnails, they doesn't show (only show 'Welcome to Google Chrome' and 'themes galler'). And when I download a file, it doesn't show in my downloads tab, only in downloads bar. What's happening? I like a lot Google Chrome, but after update it's not work well...

On Vista, Chrome 4.0.223.11 crashes immediatly and permanently, despite the fact I have got no extension.
Anyway I tried to start chrome with --disable-extensions and this time it works!

Not fast anymore. I think Google Chrome is slowing down. When i open chrome first time, it takes some time to update thumbnails . Then page rendering is getting slow too.
Without the speed I would prefer IE

Can anyone point me in the direction of information pertaining to the future of the product (most specifically on Mac OSX)? I've searched far and wide and I cannot find any clear place to see what is on the table (like when html5 stuff for wave will work within Chrome on Mac, etc). Any roadmap? Explanation of the milestones?
Thanks!

don't konw about your crash... but wanted to inform you that
--new-new-tab-page and --enable-sync are obsolete, that function are enabled by default in chrome dev and you can delete them.

FFS people stop whining.
Who ever said that the dev version of chrome was supposed to be fast or stable?
Its not called dev channel for nothing.
Use Stable channel if you want a fast browser that dosent crash.
Use the dev channel if you want fast access to new features and want to help google find and correct bugs.
But if you use dev channel then please stop acting like spoiled children.

Can I ask, Jonathan, why Chrome still has no simple toggle options to remove the idiot prompts and speed dials, etc? It's still too much of a nanny browser, and a lot of people are really annoyed about it, but hanging in there because it's so fast. I'm not sure how long they'll hang around though.

Dear Matias, the PDF problem (click and star it) with Adobe Acrobat 9.2 is already fixed, in principle, and I think that the next version will already open them fine.
