ei, the speed of downloads is very slow. I download files at 30 kps. That is very bad.

Sync have a problem: I type my login and not work, but, o type the SAME login in Gmail/Google Account and work. D:
where did the theme button (corner flap) go on the bottom right!! i liked it, but it suddenly vanished :(

Extensions (in .crx format) can only be downloaded and not installed. CRX format is not being recognized as a Google Chrome format and have blank icon (as opposed to the Google Chrome icon).
I tried installing extensions by dragging it into the browser window, but still fail.

tbs: I don't like it, it overlaps the bottom right thumbnail so when you click that you get taken to the theme gallery!
raul: try again, when I started the new version it had a sync error but then I logged back on just fine. Maybe you typoed it.
dennis: The extension appears to be incorrectly registered as part of Google Chrome's "default web browser" set of extensions. So if you switch defaults to another browser (especially using "Set Program Access and Defaults") it may unregister it, try switching the default back to Chrome even if only temporarily.
I dont understand where it went though, it was there for a few mins after i downloaded this version and now its gone
@MAZZT: My default browser has always been Chrome since last year. I uninstalled Chrome and re-installed just the stable version.
I then tried to install a theme from the themes page and lo and behold, it worked. After changing channels to Dev, I couldn't install themes anymore (or any other extension for that matter).
I still cannot post on the Google Chrome Help forum on this version (2).

Well thanks you so much. The immediate last release crashed and crashed for me continuously and made it totally unusuable. I have been using chrome for the past many months without any major issues (just minor bugs). This new version has solved all the crashing but that problem is not listed in the release notes above and should be for your other users. Many thanks for the swift action. Regards, Pal
I must say, I've been using Chrome since it's release and I've never really had any problems with it, even the Dev channel seems pretty stable for me and the only real bug that had a big effect was the drop down box issue, which was fixed quickly. Good job guys.

I love the show-extensions-on-top! It really saves space on my small-screened netbook.
Also, on the previous version I was having many problems with boot-up of chrome. It would constantly crash and ask to restart. I haven't noticed it recently though.

a problem of installation of the themes!
while waiting, that it is repaired (or resolute): you can install an extension or a theme in Chrome.
1. to open it and to write in the bar of address, "chrome://extensions/"
2. to download a theme or an extension. To rename the file and to replace its extension by ".zip"
3. to decompress it then. you got a file then.
4. in the window "Chrome", to click on "Load unpacked extension...".
5. to go to look for the file and it is installed
The theme pull-down menu disappeared but overall it's a very good release. Way better than the previous one.
Excellent the keyboard shortcuts for choosing tabs.
Now we are only waiting for Gears or some Gmail offline capabilities.

All of these 4.0 releases are crashing whenever I open History or Downloads, but I don't see anyone else complaining. What's going on?

This release broke the drawing editor in Google Docs... for some reason I can't see my drawings in the editor. Using Windows XP.
