  • an experimental change in the V8 JavaScript engine that might improve page load times for pages with a lot of JavaScript.
  • a fix for a crash when using the French spell check dictionary (Issue 8551)

Woww, i tried some sites that didnt work for me in the last version, like Facebook, and now Chrome loads them fast!

But sometimes, the web never stops loading, the little circle in the tab keeps loading and loading when the web is already loaded.

Thx for the update.

Wow indeed, 3 updates in a row? Stable going to 2.0? Congratulations!

I'm a web developer and Chrome is already my main browser, much lighter and more organized than firefox.

Three updates in a row (including a major update to stable) is really impressive, congratulations guys.

Are these experimental changes to V8 also present in the version released to the dev channel?

went from the latest dev, to stable, to beta.. back to dev. the latest stable is so slow and kept getting broken link pages the beta wasn't much better. dev works perfect. I am running windows 7, could this be why? because the beta seems to be working fine on my girlfriends comp (vista)

problem with this release on Windows 7 RC and Adobe Acrobat reader. when i click on a pdf a box with no text appears, it simply has an ok button. i click the ok button, nothing happens, i reload the page and boom, the PDF appears.

feel free to email me if you need more details to see if you can replicate the bug.

Stefan,

I do not have a problem with Windows 7 RC and Adobe Acrobat with Chrome. It works perfectly for me there.

I have the problem (with the OK button that you described) with IE 8 on Windows 7 though. :(

Does anyone know if Google Chrome will eventually a "bookmark browser window" like IE and Firefox? With all my bookmarks, I find Chrome's solution unusable :(

I wish Google would fix this!

Chromium builds since last Thursday or so appear to have a problem with the UI font.

As you can see, the usual UI font has become incredibly small.

Actually, on the topic of PDFs, my browser (2.0.172.28 stable) flies up to 100% CPU usage and takes about a minute to render. I find it's best to just save the PDF and open it with the Acrobat reader on XP.

I also have the problem of the small Chromium UI font. I'm back on chrome Dev for now.

Yeah I am having the PDF problem too described above. Its a problem with acrobat reader though.

Use Foxit Reader for PDF files. It's much lighter on it's feet.

Im on the latest stable version, however im having some issues with focus. Sometimes when I start chrome, the window appears, but the title bar is grayed out, as if its out of focus, but it becomes the normal blue (on XP) when i click in the window. NOthing serious, but it is annoying and wasnt in the last stable version.

I can no longer login to the Windows Authenticated secure portion of my website using Chrome. I keep getting the "Whoa, Google Chrome has crashed" alert and it kills ALL open Chrome browsers.
