We're releasing another update to the Dev channel because "Woah. Google Chrome has crashed."

We pushed 154.22 on Monday night, and immediately found that it crashes frequently. Thank you to everyone who has "Help make Google Chrome better..." enabled: the crash reports we received allowed us to identify and respond to the issue quickly.

This release fixes the primary causes of crashes in 0.4.154.22 (see issue 4531).

M-Freeman said...: We have multiplied our server logs by 10x since I have started using Chrome. The server is getting hit 15 times per second with a request to cr-tools.clients.google.com with an app version number of 1.2.x (I do not remember the full app version). I think this is a bug in Google Update.

Please advise. The IT group is going to prohibit using Chrome if this is not fixed.

I'm on this latest build but I've had the same problem since the initial release: for one website, it keeps filling in the same WRONG password (I've since changed passwords) even if I remove all saved passwords from that site through the password manager.

When I open the site again, the password and username are back, and they return to the password manager as well without any input from me.
